The Mother’s Circle

Mother’s Circle is a guided, community-centered membership hosted on Mighty Networks. It is built around the belief that mothers are born persons too, and that our homes are shaped by the ideas we live with.

Inside the Circle, we practice a mother’s education together through reading, discussion, and attention to the life of the mind. The focus is not self-improvement or productivity. The focus is formation.

Education is not only for the child, it is for the mother, too. In The Mother’s Circle, we create space for your own growth and refreshment, offering a monthly rhythm of living ideas to nurture your heart and mind. Each month you’ll receive a download with four thoughtful subjects and journaling pages, letters, discussions, and exclusive blog content.

Habits — small practices to strengthen and encourage you in daily life.

A PNEU Article — wisdom from Charlotte Mason’s own circle, made practical for today.

Beauty— simple ways to notice and delight in the created world.

Essay — a unique reflection on the mother’s education and the atmosphere of home.

The Mother’s Circle is your invitation to slow down, to learn, and to be nourished alongside other mothers walking the same journey. Here you will find encouragement, practical guidance, and beauty to carry into your own home and homeschool.

Why community matters here

Charlotte Mason insisted that education is the science of relations. That includes our own education.

Reading in isolation can be nourishing. Reading and thinking in community shapes judgment, humility, and attention. Mother’s Circle exists because mothers need intellectual companionship, not just resources.

How it works

  • Hosted on Mighty Networks for ease of conversation and connection

What you will find inside

A thoughtful community

A private, intentional space of homeschooling mothers who care about living ideas, honest questions, and meaningful conversation. This is not a loud feed or a place to perform. It is a place to belong and to think out loud.

Mother’s education

Space to share your own learning journey with other women.

Ongoing discussion

Weekly prompts and facilitated conversations that help you process what you are reading and connect it to your work as a mother and educator.

Live gatherings

Regular live discussions and seasonal intensives that bring the community together for shared reflection and conversation. Replays are always available.

A sustainable rhythm

This membership is designed to support your homeschool life, not compete with it. There is structure, but no pressure to do everything.

Who this is for

Mother’s Circle is for you if:

  • You homeschool using the Charlotte Mason method or are moving in that direction

  • You feel the quiet ache of wanting to keep learning, not just teaching

  • You value depth over speed and conversation over consumption

  • You want community that feels grounded, thoughtful, and humane

This is likely not for you if you are looking for quick fixes, constant motivation, or a high-energy online experience.

Hi!

I’m Beth

I’m a mother, a writer, and a lifelong learner who has fallen in love with the art of living thoughtfully. Over the years, I’ve discovered that when a mother nourishes her own mind and heart, it ripples through her home, her children, and her days in ways she can’t always see at first.

I created A Mother’s Education and The Mother’s Circle to give mothers a gentle space to pause, reflect, and grow. My work is inspired by Charlotte Mason’s philosophy: that mothers are full persons, deserving of ideas, beauty, and wisdom just as much as their children.

Here, you’ll find encouragement, practical prompts, poetry, art, and reflection—all designed to help you cultivate habits that nourish your soul and strengthen the life of your home. This is a place to slow down, notice, and delight in truth, beauty, and goodness.

I’m so glad you’re here, and I can’t wait to walk alongside you.
