Our Philosophy

We follow Charlotte Mason’s principle that children are “born persons” deserving of respect, attention, and a rich environment. Equally, mothers are full persons who thrive when given opportunity to grow, reflect, and learn. Education is not merely instruction—it is a way of life.

At The Charlotte Mason Home, we guide mothers in nurturing both their children and themselves. We provide the inspiration, structure, and community to make living education a reality in your home..

Welcome to The Charlotte Mason Home

At The Charlotte Mason Home, we believe that education is a living, enriching experience—for children and mothers alike. Founded to provide Charlotte Mason-inspired resources for homeschooling families, our mission is to help mothers cultivate homes filled with curiosity, wonder, and meaningful learning.

Our Mission

We aim to equip mothers with tools, guidance, and community support so they can:

  • Provide their children with a rich, life-giving education rooted in living books, nature study, art, and music.

  • Engage in their own lifelong learning, nurturing intellect, creativity, and spiritual growth.

  • Build a home environment where both children and mothers flourish.

“If mothers could learn to do for themselves what they do for their children when these are overdone, we should have happier households. Let the mother go out to play! If she would only have courage to let everything go when life becomes too tense, and just take a day, or half a day, out in the fields, or with a favourite book, or in a picture gallery looking long and well at just two or three pictures, or in bed, without the children, life would go on far more happily for both children and parents.”
